Gavin Rayner 1962–1966 Jones House

After leaving school, worked for stock and station agents Dalgety’s in Sydney, Goulburn, Maitland and Forbes before returning to Canberra for a career change to the world of finance. Married Jane in 1972, moved to Ulladulla in 1974 and purchased a motel. Sons Andrew born 74, Michael 81. We sold the motel in 83 and did some travelling and relief motel work for some time. We then went into the caravan park industry, first in Ulladulla and later at Jervis Bay. Retired to Canberra of all places 5 years ago – that didn’t work so have now moved to Mollymook, where time is spent travelling with our caravan or having fun with our 2 grand daughters.
