Bob Doyle

After CGS I worked in a bank for a year and then went to uni at UNE and NSW, where I studied English, Drama and Sociology.

After a stint in Tasie and Victoria I started working in theatre in Sydney (backstage at Her Majesty’s) while driving taxis (and sharing a flat in Cremorne with Andrew Dixon). Worked in a variety of roles from puppetteer to administrator and director of small theatre company in Wollongong. Also had a stint back in music working in a folk band around the Illawarra and South Coast.

Finally joined education industry seriously and have been teaching for 21 years around the state. Married at 39 (2 years after the last reunion), have two teenage daughters at Terrigal High and live at North Avoca in a house we bought this year (having built and sold down south).

Bought my daughter a drum kit 3 years ago then had a series of fantastic jams. The kit has yet to find its way into the new house.

Love the surf.

    Hey Bob,
You were the original Joe Cool the drummer. Great memories.
